Man I’m tired of SPAM, between the 4 email addresses I have to deal with over 200 (make that 500 now!) SPAM emails a day!! Even this blog gets hit daily.
I started using SpamBayes (http://spambayes.sourceforge.net/)?a while back, it works quite well at identifying the SPAM and moving it into a seperate folder, but you still have to take the time to have a look to see if anything important got flagged….grrrr.

I went to Ottawa for the first time this past weekend (Feb 22 - Feb 25). I didn’t get a chance to visit any sites, but I did see a lot of the guys from school that I had not seen in a while.
Luc was working in Ottawa, so me, Steve, Mike, Chet, Jarret and Y-Dog flew/drove to Ottawa to hang out with Deek.
We had a great time and it was nice seeing all of the guys. It had been a while since we’ve all been together.

There hasn’t been much snow this year so the local government union has implemented a make work program for when we do get some snow to make sure they don’t miss out on any overtime.?

Well, another year has gone by. A little older, a little wiser…well, I’m supposed to be anyway, Lara might say different.
I’m hoping for good things in 07. 2006 was a good year, but I’m hoping 2007 will be even better.

Lara was the best maid (maid of honor) at Pam’s wedding. Â I had to miss it cause of a work trip, Â :(

I’ve been in Portland for the past couple of days.  Last night I noticed that my server was down.  I looked at it and it had been compromised, so some work needed to be done to secure it.  People have too much time on their hands. On a brighter note, I made it out to some pretty cool places this week.  The first was called McMenamins.  It’s a huge estate with a hotel, brew pub, winery, golf course and other cool stuff.  The other was a pretty cool pub/restaurant called Henry’s. Lots of different types of beer, very trendy place.I have to say that Portland is much nicer than I thought it would be.

I’m sitting in a hotel room about 1/8th of a mile from the Boeing aircraft assembly plant.? I’m actually just outside Seattle in Everett.
Air Canada has managed to lose…or ‘misplace’ my luggage for the second time in less than 3 weeks.? Going on over 24 hours since we got here and no luggage yet.? Sometimes I wonder if I should even be stepping on their planes…if they can’t manage luggage, I wonder how their maintenance program is?? What can you do….
The mountains here are amazing.? I am looking forward to Wednesday as we will be driving by and visiting Mount St. Helens.? I’ve been taking some pictures with my camera phone, but have to get some batteries for my digital to get some better pics.?

Well, here I am in my 5th week at my new job. So far so good. A lot to learn, but the people here are always willing to point me in the right direction.
Went to Prince Albert, Sask. last week on my first customer visit. It was a great learning experience and the colleague I was on-site with helped me out a lot.
Next week, the US Pacific North West.
